The Government and London Midland Train operating company intend to axe Wolverhampton to Walsall rail services.
The Service provides an important direct link for people of Walsall and Wolverhampton together with access to connecting rail services. It is astonishing that this cut is being planned when there has been a significant increase in the number of people using this service. Axing rail services also goes against government policy of seeking to reduce carbon emissions from the transport sector.
Support Wolverhampton MP Ken Purchase parliamentary motion calling on the government to ensure that the rail service remains in operation by completing and sending off one of our leaflets.
